– With this centre, we get excellent possibilities of international interest, says Anne Tjønneland. She is in charge of a new Nordic Centre of Excellence, which is to investigate the effects of a diet with a high intake of whole grain products on modern lifestyle diseases like cancer and type 2 diabetes.
